Urbanization & migration
Urbanization
Urbanization during the Industrial Revolution was one of the long lasting effects of this transition in the world. Due to the new technologies it helped increase migration, urbanization, as well as production all across the world. Urbanization and migration were linked together in many ways during the industrial revolution. It has since been proven that the industrial revolution was involved in the spreading and increase of people living in cities than in rural areas. This leads to the next topic of migration.
" From the dirt farm roads to the urban streets of the cities, people moved all over the world to live a better life. Just like those who are privileged everywhere the unfortunate ones deserve to have that opportunity as well. Life today would not have existed if it weren't for the people who weren't afraid of change, from Europe tall the way to America there was change everywhere." - Lydia Felton

During this time peopl mainly moved from rural areas to urban places due to the new technologies that were being developed. Now that all of these machines that were being made to help make things easier, everyone wanted them. Living in rural areas had to deal with a lot of hard wo0ork and people just got tired and wanted something different.
